Arduous Werk – Mila Gold
We’re led – and nearly actually so, leash and all, as lead performer Kleopatra seems blindfolded onscreen – into the second installment of HardWerk’s Triptychon collection by the ring of a bell, the creak of an outdated picket college desk, a nervous lick of the lips and three ready figures. Hanging within the air with all of it: anticipation, intention, veneration. It’s not for nothing that the filmmakers have adopted a slower tempo for this intense gangbang – there’s a meditative high quality to the echoing spanks and answering whimpers, to the push and the pull, to easy dance of need between the 4 taking part performers; an absolute presence of thoughts and an absolute presence of flesh. As with the earlier Triptychon movie, the composition finds its personal seamless choreography throughout a number of views, so creating gorgeous juxtapositions between ache and pleasure; between a hand tightened round a throat and the simple laughter in every second of disarming tenderness; between the polish of ‘pre’ and the primal of ‘proper now’…
