One other day goes by with out a single buyer taking curiosity in shopping for one thing from Sam’s vintage store. That’s till Fanta wanders into the store. Sam instantly composes himself and serves Fanta as a pleasant salesman, providing her every kind of novelty objects to buy.
While she appears uninterested at first, one thing does catch Fanta’s eye. A group of gold rings. Sam recites an city legend in regards to the rings, entertaining Fanta with the story of every ring’s supernatural energy. While Fanta is fascinated by the story, it doesn’t justify the extortionate value Sam has given them.
After Fanta decides to not purchase the rings, Sam places one of many rings on for himself. Doing so causes Fanta to freeze in place simply as she’s about to go away the store.
